APRIL 3, 1925
William M. Fisher, of 322 West Ottawa street, passed the 87th milestone of his life Friday, March 27. He is the son of Benjamin and Catherin Fisher and was born on a farm which was located in what is now a part of the corporation of Richwood. The home of his birth was situated about one square west of South Franklin street in what is now Fairground street. He has been a lifelong resident of Union County in or near Richwood. His grandfather, Enoch Fisher fought in the French and Indian war, and attained, the ripe old age of 101 years. Mr. Fisher is himself a veteran of the civil war, and is the oldest living members of the local, or Livingston G. A. R. post. He is at the same time, one of the oldest residents of Richwood. In ce…
