Magnetic sewer project gets official word on $750K grant

The Magnetic Springs sanitary sewer project has received its full funding request from the state.
The Ohio Department of Development announced recently that Union County will receive $750,000 to construct a wastewater collection system in the Village of Magnetic Springs. Houses are currently served by failing septic systems that seep into nearby wells. As a result, the Village of Richwood will extend its line into Magnetic Springs to provide service. The project will benefit 350 people, according to the state.
