Richwood Route 47 project delayed

Richwood’s Route 47 project will be pushed back from 2026 to 2027 and work on North Franklin Street is slated for spring of 2026.

At the regular meeting of village council on Monday, Village Administrator Monte Asher said he attended a meeting with Craig Mescher with Access Engineering and ODOT regarding the village’s road projects, including Route 47. He said ODOT made the decision to move the project back to May of 2027 in order to give the village enough time to get funding and finish side projects on East Blagrove Street and West Ottawa Street.
