The following letter was written to Mrs. David Price of Richwood, by James M. Price, who left Ohio forty-five years ago and is now located in Pine Island, Minnesota. Dear Mary and David: after so long a time I will try and answer your letter that I received so long ago. I have been very busy getting ready to go into the woods logging thirty miles west of Big Falls. … Rose has been here three weeks doing the cooking for us. We have a nice camp and plenty to eat. Earl is driving a team for us and Clair is helping me most of the time. Harry was here today and he is cutting at camp 1. … Clair does not have to use his crutches now although he was on them four months. Best wishes to all inquiring friends, I am yours, James M. Price.
