Second-seeded Lady Cats open postseason play with home win over Northmor, 59-34

Throughout the 202425 girls basketball regular season, North Union has shown it can apply defensive pressure resulting in victory after victory.

That trend continued last Friday, only this time it had a little more importance.

The second-seeded Lady Cats (20-3) opened Division V Central District tournament play with a 59-34 sectional final win over 19th-seeded Northmor (9-14) at North Union.

It was the 13th time North Union has held an opponent to 35 points or less in a game this season.
