Wildcats take ninth place at Triad Invite

North Union’s boys wrestling program traveled to North Lewisburg to partake in the Triad Invitational over the weekend.

The Wildcats finished ninth with 88 team points.

Dublin Coffman was the tournament champion with 158 points followed by Marysville in second place with 143.5 points.

North Union’s top placer was Heath Ferguson with a third-place finish at 157.

Other placers for the Wildcats were Jason Rankin (fourth, 285), Collin Welch (fifth, 126), Ben Bonnell (fifth, 144), Corey Gilliam (fifth, 150), Broden O’Reilly (sixth, 165) and Kory Ransome (sixth, 190).
