NU boys basketball rallies for win over Northwestern

North Union rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat Northwestern 64-58 on Thursday in Central Buckeye Conference boys basketball play at Northwestern.

The Wildcats (6-6 overall, 4-1 CBC) trailed 46-43 heading into the fourth quarter.

Miles Hall and Tyler Krebehenne combined for 13 points in the final stanza to key the comeback victory.

Northwestern dropped to 2-3 and 2-8.

Hall led all scorers with 26 points, while Krebehenne chipped in with 16 and Nickolas Hajjar contributed 12.

North Union won the junior varsity game 44-24.

Breyvn Martino led the Wildcats with 10 points with Silas Cooper and Kody Park each getting eight points.

The Wildcats will return to action on Tuesday.

They will host London with the junior varsity game scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m.

North Union

Lindsey 0-5-5, Hajjar 4-2-12, Kyte 1-0-2, Davis 1-1-3, Krebehenne 5-6-16, Hall 8-7-26. Three-point goals: Hall 3, Hajjar 2.

Northwestern

McDermott 7-8-22, Bechtel 1-0-2, Taylor 9-1-19, Estep 6-3-15, Spencer 0-0-0.
