Lady Cats top Olentangy Berlin during non-conference matchup on the road
North Union’s girls basketball squad showed poise in the face of adversity last Monday evening.
That ability gave the Lady Cats enough of an edge to overtake Olentangy Berlin (9-5), 51-49.
Led by Kennedy Harrah’s 22-point performance, NU recovered from a less-than-desirable first quarter to take the lead in the second period.
The junior Lady Cat currently ranks fourth in the Central Buckeye Conference when it comes to points per game with 15.6.
“I feel like coming in here, playing a Division I school, and beating them is always a good win,” Harrah said. “That backand- forth game… that’s what basketball is.”
