LUC set to present comprehensive plan

By Michael Williamson, Richwood Gazette

Union County is planning an open house later this month to present its current draft of the area’s comprehensive plan.

The Logan-Union-Champaign (LUC) Regional Planning Commission has been working on the update for the last few years, the first update since 2013 and plans to show it at an open house on Jan. 21.

LUC Director Brad Bodenmiller said the open house will be a good opportunity for citizens to learn about the plan for the first time.

“The open house will have what we put together so far so people can see it. They will also be able to provide feedback on whichever topics they might be interested in,” he said.
