Wildcats host North Union Pool boys wrestling event

North Union hosted several wrestling teams over the weekend at the North Union Pools.

In addition to the Wildcats, Dublin Coffman, Dublin Scioto, Hilliard Bradley, Thomas Worthington, Centennial Jonathan Alder, Fairbanks and Olentangy also participated.

No team scores were kept.

Winning three matches for North Union were Jaystin Beeney and Jack Kemp while Wyatt Stacklin, Jaxon Mabery, Ben Bonnell, Heath Ferguson, Bradley Cline, Mason Andrews and Jason Rankin each won two matches.

Picking up one win was Luke Brown.

Also during the weekend the North Union Middle School Invitational was held with 17 teams participating, including Bunsold Blue, North Union and Fairbanks.

Bunsold took the team title with 269 points.

Winning individual titles for Bunsold were Liam Parrish (98 pounds), Graham Andrews (104) and Nash Piper (128).

North Union, which finished ninth overall with 91 points, also had an individual champion.

Noah Huddleston led the 205-pound division.
