Wildcat hoopsters drop conference matchup to Urbana

North Union dropped to 1-2 on the season as Urbana defeated the Wildcats 79-59 last Tuesday at Urbana.

The Hillclimbers opened with a 25-20 lead after one quarter and bumped the advantage to 48-34 by halftime, North Union was outscored 31-25 in the second half.

Tyler Krebehenne led the Wildcats with 18 points while Miles Hall dropped in 17 points.

Urbana also won the junior varsity contest 52-40.

Trace Huff led the Wildcats with 15 points and Jaxon Jolliff scored 10 points

North Union

Jolliff 1-0-2, Stover 0-2-2, Lindsey 1-0-3, Arver 0-0-0, Hajjar 2-0-5, Kyte 1-2-4, Davis 4-0-8, Krebehenne 6-3-18, Hall 4-6-17. Three-point goals: Krebehenne 3, Hall 3, Hajjar, Lindsey.

Urbana

Spriggs 5-3-15, Lantz 5-1-12, Donohue 2-0-4, Underwood 4-0-9, Davis 5-0-10, Wilhelm 4-4-13, Hower 2-4-8, Dixon 3-0-8. Three-point goals: Spriggs 2, Dixon 2, Lantz, Wilhelm.
