Man facing felonies after domestic incident

A Marysville man could be facing prison after allegedly choking his live-in-girlfriend.

The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Nicholas Edgar Alexander Hay, 23, of 1900 Morning Song Road, Apt. 304. Hay is charged with one count each of strangulation and domestic violence.

According to court documents, at about 1:51 p.m., Oct. 3, Hay and his girlfriend got into an argument over car keys. The argument allegedly turned physical. The woman told investigators that she was on an outside balcony when Hay pushed her back inside the home. She said she was trying to get away from Hay when he “followed her into the bathroom and pushed her over the vanity into a can…
