Wildcats come up short in Mad River Division showdown against Benjamin Logan, 30-26
So many numbers favored North Union during its Central Buckeye Conference home football game last Friday against Benjamin Logan.
However, the number that mattered was on the Benjamin Logan side of the ledger.
Despite having just one offensive play in the first quarter and three of any consequence during the fourth stanza, the Raiders were able to defeat the Wildcats 30-26.
NU led 26-13 with just over eight minutes left in the second quarter. It could not add another marker the rest of the way in dropping to 2-6 overall and 1-2 in the CBC.
Head Coach Nick Hajjar was at a loss for words in trying to figure out what led to the loss.
