Lady Cat soccer squad captures first ever postseason victory over West Jefferson, 1-0

In the season preview of the North Union girls soccer team sent to the media, Head Coach Bill LeRoy talked about the senior members wanting to make their mark before they graduated.
Consider that mark made as the Lady Cats in just their third year as a high school program won their first-ever tournament match. Kale Keigley scored a goal just past the midway point of the first half and North Union made it stand up for a 1-0 victory last Monday at West Jefferson.
This was the same result the two teams played to in mid-September earlier this season.
