This month we will be hosting two classes here at the Civic Center with the Alzheimer’s Association, Wednesday, Oct. 9, “The Empowered Caregiver: Communicating Effectively” and Wednesday, Oct. 23 “Responding to Dementia Related Behaviors” both at 6 p.m. If you or someone you care for has dementia, these are two classes that will be beneficial to your caregiver team. Please RSVP to the office if you plan on attending. We have a mystery trip planned for Tuesday, Oct. 15. If you are interested in going on this fun trip, please stop in the office to reserve your seat. The cost is $25. We have all our other activities that you can come have fun with going on as well. Line dancing class is every Monday at 12:30 p.m., bingo is Monday and Wednesdays at 1 p.m., cards on Tuesdays at 1 p.m., Geri-Fit exercise on Mondays at 10 a.m. and Thursdays at 9 a.m., Bible study at 10 a.m. and sewing class at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
