NU teams take on the Stars, Stripes and Lights cross country meet

North Union was among the teams on Saturday that competed in Division II of the Seneca East Stars, Stripes and Lights cross country meet.

The girls team finished seventh overall with 216 points. Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary won the meet with 30 points.

Kennedy Ludwig led the Lady Cats, finishing ninth in the time of 20 minutes, 11 seconds.

Kailin McElroy was 13th in the time of 20:26 and she was followed by Lauren Hall (31st, 21:24. Savannah Amstutz (67th, 22:53), Allana Smith (115th, 24:44), Josie Held (178th, 29:15).

The boys team finished 14th overall with 449 points. Utica was the meet winner with 67 points.

Felix Plouck was NU’s top placer, finishing 51st in the time of 18:20. He was followed by Mack Marlette (97th, 19:30), Max Leavitt (81st, 18:56), Colton Smith (160th, 21:11), Drew Chadwell (195th, 22;26) AND Jack Hoover (159th, 21:08).
