Committee of locals to create a mural for Richwood

Richwood Bank is working with local artists to create a mural that encapsulates the Village of Richwood.

Heather Wirtz, with the Richwood Bank, said the mural will be going on the south end of their offices behind the bank facing the post office.

She said they are working with a committee consisting of members of the community, including local historian Charles Barry, Gail DeGood-Guy, Kelly Jerew, local art teachers and the Marysville Art League to create a “big hodgepodge” of everything that makes up Richwood.

“We’re trying to make it all collaborative, like the Village of Richwood came to work together,” Wirtz said.
