County finalizes plans for logjam project

Letters to affected property owners have been sent out as Union County finalizes plans for the second public hearing for the Mill Creek logjam next month.

County officials are preparing for the Sept. 10 meeting, Engineer Jeff Stauch said, as residents should be seeing the documents come through the mail with assessment information listed. Amounts were one of the final pieces of the puzzle before the county could get the hearing scheduled.
