Area News – Trustees officially oppose P.C. annexation

Officials in Jerome Township and Plain City are at odds over who should benefit from the development of hundreds of acres along U.S. 42 into a commerce park.

“We hope Plain City, like the county, works with Jerome Township so that everybody wins,” Trustee Wezlynn Davis said.

During their meeting Tuesday, the trustees unanimously approved a resolution opposing a petition filed with the Union County Commissioners to annex approximately 331 acres from Jerome Township into Plain City.
