Area News – Marysville Pool reopens after glass incident

The Marysville pool has reopened.

“So far, it’s been a good day,” Amanda Morris, recreation and events manager for the city, said Monday afternoon.

The city reopened the pool at about noon, Monday after the Union County Health Department tested the pool water and gave Marysville officials the green light to reopen.

The pool had been closed since last Wednesday evening when a child cut their foot on a piece of glass in the water. Pool officials found additional broken glass in the shallow end of the pool.
