My Trip

More than 15 years ago, fellow Master Gardener Bill Paloney and his wife Margaret visited Butchart Gardens in Victoria, British Columbia. During the education portion of a monthly Master Gardener meeting, Bill shared a DVD of the gardens. Butchart Gardens immediately became a bucket list destination for me.

For my milestone birthday this year, my husband Larry suggested that my daughter Anne accompany me on my dream trip. She was willing so planning began for our girls’ trip. It expanded as the plan developed to meet at the Seattle Airport coordinating our flights from Columbus and Los Angeles to arrive so she would meet me when I landed. That plan worked well.
