The youth fished from 9 a.m. to noon and caught (and released) hundreds of bluegill and sunfish. In the age group of 0-6 years, River Neil caught the biggest fish of the day at 8 ¼ inches long. Cassidy Bragg caught the second longest fish and DeeAnna Davis caught the third longest. In the 7-10 year old age group, Mason Scott caught the big fish at 7 inches long. Augest Jordan caught the second longest. Third longest fish was a tie between Joseph Neil and Hudson Sowder. In the 11-15 age group, Kale Gilliam caught the winner with a 7 ¼ inch long fish. Jason Cremeans caught second and William Price caught third. All of the age group winners are pictured below. All 74 participants were eligible to win door prizes from the sponsors with gift cards and merchandise cards given to the young anglers.
