NU track athletes advance to regional meet in Lexington

North Union’s Gabby Lindsey qualified for the regional track meet in three events following last week’s district competition at Westerville South.

Lindsey won the 200 in the time of 25.95 seconds, finished third in the 400 (58.87) and fourth in the long jump (16 feet, 10.25 inches).

The top four in each event at the district qualified for the regional meet at Lexington High School.

Joining Lindsey at the regional for the Lady Cats were the 4×800 team of Savannah Amstutz, Lindsey, Kennedy Ludwig and Lauren Hall that finished second in the time of 10:05.32 and Ludwig in the 1600 (fourth, 5:26.41).
