NUMS battles with Pioneers during CBC Championships

North Union battled with Jonathan Alder right down to the wire last week in the Central Buckeye Conference girls track championships at Benjamin Logan.

When everything was settled the Lady Pioneers edged out the Lady Cats 94-90.

North Union had just two first-place finishes but placed in 12 other events.

Glory Blevins won the high jump with a leap of four feet, eight inches and the 4×800 team of Samantha Price, Kellyn Ufferman, Tinlee Martino and Chloe McElroy had a winning time of 11:04.58.
