Traffic on the Erie line between Marion and Dayton was blocked for six hours Friday afternoon as the result of the derailment of two cars of northbound passenger, No. 16 just south of Broadway. Failure of the mechanism of the mail car is given by officials of the road as the cause for the accident. The mail car was damaged and the track was badly torn up.
