George E. “Soapy” Showalter

George E. “Soapy” Showalter, Jr., 91 of Richwood passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 6, 2024 at the Arbors of Delaware with his loving wife by his side. George originally hails from Lexington, KY and was born May 16, 1932 to the late George and Rachell (Roberts) Showalter. George or “Soapy” as he was affectionately known was a man of exceptional qualities. He possessed a great sense of humor, and his infectious smile could brighten anyone’s day. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle cherishing the moments he spent with his family.
