February 7:

Passing of Our Illustrious War President – Woodrow Wilson peacefully passes from mortal to immortal sleep. In Richwood memorial services for the former president were held Wednesday afternoon in the opera house. Business places were closed during the ceremonies and the pupils and teachers of the public schools attended in a body.

The Freshmen of the literary societies gave a splendid program Friday afternoon.
