North Union wrestling falls to Triad in regular season dual meet

Triad’s wrestling team claimed a 39-29 triumph over visiting North Union during a regular-season dual meet last week.

“I knew Triad had some kids who were going to be a tough matchup for us based on who they had and our experience level,” North Union Head Coach Garrett Andrews said. “Even in a couple of losses that we had… there is a lot to learn from a loss like that.”

Near the midway point of the season, both squads took the opportunity presented to them as the postseason starts coming into view.
