County holds service awards for employees

Union County’s inaugural Employee Service Awards Program kicked off with a set of significant milestones.

The event highlighted over 40 employees who reached milestone years of service throughout 2023.

County officials celebrated everything from five and tenyear marks up through decades of service to the community, including one employee who hit 50 years with the county.

Commissioner Steve Robinson said that the employees’ dedication to the job is what makes the county great.
