Richwood Civic Center

It is hard to believe that we only have a week and a half until Christmas. Here at the Richwood Civic Center, we are finishing up some programs and planning new ones for the new year. If you were nominated for our Christmas Bell program, your gifts will be delivered on Thursday, Dec. 21.

Please remember those families in need this holiday season. You can help by donating to REAP (Richwood Emergency Assistance Program) and to the Personal Needs Pantry. There are boxes around the community to put your food and items in or you can drop stuff off at the Richwood Civic Center at 235 Grove St. here in Richwood. We are located at the Richwood Greene Apartments to the very back of the building.

We are still having all of our regular daily and monthly activities up through Christmas. Exercise is on Mondays at 10 a.m. and Thursday at 9 a.m., Bingo is on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1 p.m., Line Dancing is on Mondays at 12:30 p.m., Bible Study is on Thursdays at 10 a.m., Card Playing is on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. We also have a movie afternoon on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. The office will be closed Dec. 25 through Jan. 1 and will open back up on Jan. 2.

Have a great week.
