UCHD plans breast cancer screenings in Richwood

The Union County Health Department is coming to Richwood on Saturday, Oct. 14 to talk about the importance of breast cancer screenings. A public health nurse from the Union County Health Department will be at the Richwood-North Union library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to answer questions and connect uninsured and underinsured persons to screening resources. No appointments are needed and an area for private conversations will be available.

Regular screenings for breast and cervical cancer can help detect cancer early, providing a greater opportunity for successful treatment.
