Dressing the decades

By David

The Richwood-North Union Public Library’s History Department will host its first-ever exhibition in the Local History Room, titled “Dressing the Decades.” The exhibit will run for two weeks, Monday, Aug. 28 through Saturday, Sept. 9, in the library’s history room. The exhibition will feature various examples of period clothing from the Victorian era to the 1940s, like the 1920s “flapper” dress pictured above. Additionally, there will be information about Richwood’s various clothing stores that existed within this time period. Admission is free. (Submitted photo)
