Grand Jury – Man facing three decades for alleged rape of child

A former Richwood man could be facing more than three decades in prison after allegedly raping his girlfriend’s daughter. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Jonathan Patrick Lowe, 43, of 364 Riverwind Drive, Marysville, charging him with two counts of rape as well as one count each of gross sexual imposition, aggravated menacing and intimidation of an attorney, victim or witness in a criminal case. Union County Prosecutor Dave Phillips said the victim, now 12, and her grandmother went to the Richwood Police Department to report that Lowe raped her nearly three years ago.
