Memorial Day is a federal ….

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. While we honored them this past Monday, I am taking some extra time to remember several of my uncles and friends that served in the military and the stories I have heard as they were passed down through the years. I never appreciated those stories when I was younger, but as I get older and with our freedoms being questioned currently, I recognize that the freedom I have right now is because they fought to give us that freedom and I appreciate it so much more.

Beginning of a new month and some new fun activities as well. Special events going on for the month of June would be Fish…
